Languages, Languages...

Ugh...right now, I'm learning so many languages. Not that I'm complaining though :)

I'm Chinese, so I'm learning Chinese from the local Chinese School (which happens to suck, but my mom pretty much only speaks Chinese to me so I get plenty of practice).

Over the summer, I gained interest in Japanese, due to the extremely high awesome factor that it carries. I'm self-tutoring right now, but I plan to take the Japanese course in high school next year (although I heard they don't learn much there).

I'm also learning Korean from a friend. It happens to be the only language I'm learning (besides English, but I'm not really learning that anymore, obviously) that exclusively uses an alphabet! Yeyyy~. The alphabet's pretty freakin easy too.

The ironic thing is I'm teaching my friend Chinese and what little Japanese I know and he's teaching me Korean during our English class. Funny stuff.

Spring

So, let's just assume it's spring. This is the time when various animals come out of hibernation, or if you will, hiatus.

The other blog I was doing, Exunctly, has pretty much died (Like anyone else coming out of a dead team project, I blame creative differences :P). Besides, I've decided if I'm going to do a blog, I'd rather do it by myself. So, here we are. I'm bringing this blog back to life.

Hopefully it'll last and not fall into the dark depths of neglect.

This Blog is Now on Hiatus.

Ok, so I started a new blog with my bud, called Exunctly. I'll be putting all (or most?) of my blog posts there instead.

My posts are generally satire, in a twisted and warped way :D

His are generally rants (with explicit language, so if you can't stand that keep away from his stuff)

See it here.

A Rant on Wikipedia's Featured Articles

Ok, so I'm sure you don't care at all, but I seriously need to get this off of my chest. What. The. Hell. Is. Up. With. Wikipedia's. Featured. Articles?! I mean, they're so RANDOM. Chad? Scouts Wood Badge? Chicken Processing Plant Fire? THOU?! WONDERBRA?! Nobody cares! Every once in a while, something interesting DOES come up, but only every once in a while! It's such a waste of space on a page that gets many hits per day. They should have something relevant to current times or important events in history, not some fucking shark attacks in 1916. They sure have the potential to choose useful articles, such as the one on death cap mushrooms or the one on Japan. But noooo, they still don't do it. Get a grip, seriously.

Now obviously if anyone reads this someone's going to be offended. If you're one of those people, it's a rant. It's my opinion. Get over it.

The Cook, the Beast, the Vice and its Lover

"A disgusting and twisted restaurant in the Tokyo entertainment district of Roppongi is enticing warped rich folk with the opportunity to figuratively have their cake and eat it, too -- with animals, according to Jitsuwa Knuckles (9/25).

Roppongi's bestiality restaurant is being regarded by its main nouveau riche patronage of young company presidents and venture capitalists as a decadent practice only possible among the wealthy."

Body Battery!

Ok so, with a resting heart rate of 72BPM, a weight of 127 lbs, a height of 5' 6", and a body type of Athletic - Lean,

301 WATTS Body Battery Calculator - Find Out How Much Electricity Your Body is Producing - Dating
Which is good enough so that:

This is 20% MORE wattage than the average person

  • You could light up 3 light bulbs
  • You could power 75 iPods
  • You could power 2 Xbox 360s
  • 3 of you would be needed to keep a refrigerator running
Try your own wattage here.

Blood Draw.

I shall now weave a tale, one that occurred today. It was an unusually chilly day for a certain Southern California town when I walked into my doctor's office (I got out of school early :D). After the usual check-ups, the nurse came in and gave me a giant squishy eyeball made of foam (:3) and put a large rubber band on my upper arm. Then I was poked in the arm with a needle. Blood, glorious blood, spurted out in immense volumes (Ok that's exaggeration but you get the point.) and they filled up two containers.

Then I got a bandage.
Then one of the birds at the doctor's office bit me.

Also, the doctor suggested Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo as a good college choice for graphic design.

Graduation!

I just got KanYe West's new album, Graduation, and it's pretty good. In my opinion, there isn't really anything that makes it drop dead awesome, but it's still a pretty solid album. My favorite song is "Homecoming", since it features Chris Martin :3 (Coldplay FTW!)

Really nice album art though, designed by a Japanese dude. Trippy stuff. Reminds me of Katamari Damacy :D

MeTube

This is how the iPhone commercials should have been.

I R Not Playing Vidjagames No More :O

So, once I was an avid gamer, but things have changed for me. Lately I haven't played very many games at all. I haven't played one at home for more than three weeks. Fear not, for this is my own choice and I'm not grounded or any crap like that. Music and Youtube are the main elements of my life now :D
